Nur Shanti is the first headphone in the Nur Professional line. Born as a reliable, consistent, and precise tool, it is nonetheless engineered with the same care, sensibility, and respect we dedicate to the most demanding audiophile. It is a headphone designed for:

  1. Professionals seeking control, consistency, and stability.
  2. Audiophiles desiring precision without sacrificing musicality.
  3. Those who experience sound as a tool, but also as a journey.

In Shanti, technical rigor is never an end in itself. Precision is not cold. It serves the art of listening. There are not two different Shantis, one “for work” and one “for pleasure.” There is a single project, capable of inhabiting both worlds.

Acoustic Grilles: Even What Surrounds Sound Is Sound

Nur Shanti’s acoustic grilles are crafted from raw 301 stainless steel, inspired by the Flower of Life—not as a decorative element, but as a structural and functional principle. Their geometry is engineered to:

  1. Minimize unwanted reflections
  2. Stiffen the chassis
  3. Ensure a uniform sonic response

This plays a decisive role in achieving extraordinary coherence across the entire frequency spectrum, preserving naturalness, stability, and precision.

At Nur, even what does not directly emit sound participates in the sound.

Within Nur Shanti lies a layer of carefully calibrated felt, selected for the specific density and thickness best suited to the behavior of the planar driver.

The Nur Shanti chassis is a complex structure, designed as a unified system. The outer shell is crafted via additive manufacturing, utilizing nylon reinforced with 30% carbon fiber (Carbonylon). This solution reduces overall weight, enhancing comfort without compromising structural integrity. The system’s rigidity stems from the union of:

  • The steel acoustic grille
  • The planar driver’s aluminum structure, machined from solid billet

Carbonylon allowed us to create complex internal geometries, designed to contain and guide sound reflections.

The result is reproduction that is:

At the core of Nur Shanti lives a planar magnetic driver designed to operate in balance, not tension. Its architecture is built upon:

  3. A dual Uniforce voice coil that moves the diaphragm consistently across its entire surface.

  3. Free from harshness and compression.

With Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 0.1% at 100 dB, Shanti does not impose a sonic signature. It renders exactly what is there.

Nur Shanti’s frequency response extends from 8 Hz to 20 kHz, with an effective high-frequency reproduction capability reaching up to 50 kHz.

While the headphone is designed to accommodate various solutions, the included pad is the result of extensive experimentation: rigorous for the professional, engaging for the audiophile.

The angled structure projects the sonic wavefront forward, enhancing soundstage and imaging.

Genuine sheepskin and soft cushioning ensure comfort and stability over time.
